Galena (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. This is a great old display piece of featuring a good sized, sharp, cubic crystal of silvery Galena with minor associated Chalcopyrite and Dolomite The piece is complete on the front with an interesting overgrown / "etched" appearance on the surface. It's a nice old time specimen dating back probably around 50 years. An attractive specimen from this noteworthy collection.
