Item Description
A predominant, very well formed, sharp, lustrous cuboctahedron of silvery Galena sits atop a lovely contrasting matrix of white crystallized Calcite. The are some attractive, but small crystals of golden Chalcopyrite that are sprinkled throughout the piece, along with minor associated gemmy Fluorite cubes. The matrix is essentially a layer of black Sphalerite with additional intermixed sulfides. The main Galena crystal measures 8 mm across, and the piece has a gentle elegance that makes it stand out from many other sulfide specimens from Naica.
