A very large, spectacular specimen of superb galena crystals: shiny-metallic, razor-sharp, and piled up in dramatic, architectural forms. The clusters of galenas are isolated in places amongst patches of gemmy quartz crystals. They measure to just over 1 cm in size and are MUCH sharper in person. This wonderful large specimen came out of an Eastern European museum collection - the National Museum of Bulgaria in Sophia. It is in remarkably good condition, complete, and displays wonderfully in person. Some calcite is associated on the backside. Valued $1000.
