Item Description

Battleship-gray, sharp, moderately lustrous, galena cuboctahedrons to about 2.4 cm cover the mounded matrix on this showy and excellent large example from this well-known Viburnum Trend Mine. The bruised area and bit of periphery wear are certainly modest detractions to this highly representative and rich lead ore specimen from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
