Mineral specimens from the old Webb City District, late 1800s-early 1900s, of the Missouri portion of the famed Tri-State District are RARE. This is a very sharp, cuboctahedral galena crystal thumbnail with moderate luster. Ex Dr. Ed David Collection and comes with a Hugh Ford label, a prominent English dealer who lived in New York City. The label dates from 1946-57. Ed was Science Advisor to President Nixon and has assembled several world-class mineral collections. VERY RARE and old. Try to find another!
