Mineral specimens from this less well-known Madan ore field mine are uncommon and are very seldom on the market. This is an extremely fine and sculptural combination plate. An impressive, large, 3.8 cm, striated, blocky chalcopyrite crystal with sparkly brassy luster is aesthetically surrounded by brilliant luster galena cubes (some with skeletal features) and a field of lustrous, sharp sphalerite crystals. The calcite rhombs on one side of the piece are a super and contrasting accent. Very choice and uncommon combination material for the species and locale. Valued by the former dealer at $695.
