Naica has produced classic combination specimens and this is a showy large plate. Splendent, sharp, metallic-gray galena crystals are aesthetically clustered at the top of the piece and nicely complimented by patches of sparkly golden chalcopyrite crystals, contrasting tufts of dogtooth calcite crystals and lustrous, jet-black sphalerite crystals. A striking and excellent recent and rich sulfide ore specimen from this noted locale. 2.4 pounds or just over a kilogram. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. The chalcopyrite really glitters in light.
