Clusters of bright steel-gray galena cuboctahedrons with an unusual and striking melted-look with starkly contrasting golden chalcopyrite crystals cover the undulating matrix of quartz and sulfides on this rich, showy and hefty old-time combination ore specimen from the historic mines at Freiberg. The crystals reach about 8 mm on this very fine, rich and unusual style old-timer.
