Item Description
An impressive and sculptural LARGE CABINET combination specimen from the famous Sweetwater Mine. Splendent, metallic-gray, galena cubes to 3.8 cm aesthetically set on the front and side of the large limestone matrix wedge covered with lustrous, gray-black, sphalerite crystals and sparkly drusy calcite. The sphalerites and calcite cover three sides of this dramatic specimen. This very fine large piece is pristine on the display view. Ex Charelle and James Webb Collection. 7.5 pounds or 3.4 kilos. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!! Fairly valued at $1200-1500 for quality, aesthetics and supremely lustrous galenas. It is NOT just your typical common quality specimen. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $150, for free.
