Galena and Quartz

A showy and excellent combination piece from this well-known Bulgarian mine. A field of lustrous, melted-look and etched galena crystals is aesthetically surrounded by glassy, water-clear quartz points to 3.0 cm. The quartz points are preferentially coated with sugary, microcrystalline quartz and a few calcite disks. That's a nifty 5 mm calcite perched on the tip of a quartz crystal. The interior of the piece is pristine and the modest periphery wear does not detract from this fine combination piece.
