Item Description
An interesting and showy old-time combination specimen featuring flattened, lustrous, disc-like galena crystals stacked upon matrix, and surrounded by a halo of translucent, lustrous, disc-shaped calcites. This is unusual for St. Andreasberg, in that I have not seen many galenas from there that are pretty, but the place is famous for its wide variety of calcites. Certainly 100 years old or older. A rare combination classic. Valued at $400.
