Highly lustrous cubes of intergrown Galena, up to 1 cm on edge, comprise this hefty plate from the well-known Meggen mine. This is a fine, representative specimen from this venerable locality, which began mining operations in the 17th Century. Attractive and in good condition, this Galena was #6643 in Kay's collection.
