Item Description

Three different galena crystal forms are present on this showy combination from the famous Huanzala Mine. The striking, dominating, central crystal is a sharp and pristine cuboctahedron. A 2.8 cm spinel-twin is set on the large cuboct, with more cubocts at the top. There are galena cubes below and on either side of the large cuboct. The matrix is bright brassy pyrite cubes with a bit of quartz. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent piece. Choice and uncommon galena in combination from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
