Item Description
A classic and fine quality old-time Galena specimen from the Sweetwater Mine in Missouri, featuring multiple, lustrous, steel-grey colored cubic crystals on matrix. The largest Galena measures 2.0 cm. If you look closely, you can see some unusual negative cubic faces on the surface of the crystals, rarely seen from this locality. Minor roughness in a few spots, but the luster is higher than most you'll see from the locality. A showy piece of these great old Tri-State classics.
