Large (over 3 cm) and solid mass of the uncommon silicate mineral, Gageite. This is 100% gageite in the classic 'felted' habit of the species. Within the Gageite are small plates of intergrown white to clear crystalline Calcite(?). For what it is, a relatively rare mineral often found in small amounts, this is an exceptional and highly representative Gageite specimen. valued $300.
