Item Description
Truly exceptional specimen of the rare Chromium Muscovite, Fuchsite. The crystals, which completely coat the top of the plate, are a radiant emerald-green with superb luster and form. The largest of the crystals, which are quite distinct, is .4 cm across. That doesn't sound like a lot, but it is really quite amazing. A superb specimen, as the close-up photos will attest to. While we have all seen fuchsite from other locales, I have not seen such little gems before.
