Freibergite (rare) with Pyrite

Item Description

This is a rare specimen of featuring a tetrahedral crystal of oxidized Freibergite maesuring 1.1 cm with sharp, metallic associated octahedral Pyrite. The lone Freibergite crystal is contacted, but this is a rare mineral, and hard to find in crystals over 1 cm. There is a micro iridescent "wash" of possibly Bornite or more oxidized Freibergite in areas (best seen under the microscope). You normally don't see these on the market, especially from this great old classic locality. Priced at $400.
