A 1.1 cm, sharp, attractive, well-formed, group of grey Freibergite crystals sitting on sparkling, lustrous, cubic Pyrite matrix. A rarely seen specimen of this highly sought after silver-bearing species of the Tetrahedrite group from this well known mine in Colorado. The Freibergite group shows excellent tetrahedral form as you can see from the micro photos I've taken This material is not easy to find on the market, and for the size and quality, it is more than a reference specimen of this highly sought after silver-bearing species. Great aesthetics combined with the classic locality make for a very worthwhile thumbnail.
