A textbook 1.5 cm, franklinite octahedron is jauntily set on franklinite and calcite matrix on this classic specimen from the Type Locality. The lustrous, black octo is complete all-around and has very modest edgewear. Showy material from this noted locale. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
