Franklinite, Calcite & Willemite

Item Description

Classic and aesthetic small cabinet combination from the famous Franklin Mine. A sharp, 2.0 cm, metallic luster, jet-black Franklinite octahedron artistically crowns the blocky, mounded specimen. The nicely set octo is set in contrasting massive Calcite complemented with a string of smaller Franklinite crystals and crystal sections. The body of the specimen is orange Willemite peppered with small Franklinite crystal sections. Neon-green SW UV willemite fluorescence and dark red calcite fluorescence. The large octahedron has modest bruising on a lower frontal edge and the bruising to the back of the termination is mostly out-of-sight. These are certainly modest detractions.
