Framed Mineral print by Eberhard Equit

Eberhard Equit, 1939-2016, was an acknowledged master at the art of painting mineral specimens. His superb water colors were at a 1:1 scale with accuracy down to 0.05 mm! He self-published three magnificicent over-sized coffee-table books, of which, Masterworks of Saxon Minerals (in German - 1994), was the first. Masterworks was published as both a hardcover book and as a folio with serparate prints. The hardcover has 151 pages with 11 pages of Saxon mines and localities and numerous superb mineral paintings. This framed print features a superb pyromorphite with barite from the Type Locality and a fine malachite. These normally sell for a premium when copies turn up.
