A beautiful, completely fossilized ammonite from the Devonian Period, the "Age of Fish", and when ammonites first appeared in the oceans. The wavy sutures are very sharp, with the well-defined chambers being completely filled with colorful minerals and clays. Looks like modern art! Polished on front and sliced on the back bring out the beauty.
