Item Description

Fluororichterite is an ultra rare amphibolte group species. This showy and excellent combination specimen is from the well-known Earle's Farm occurrence in Ontario. Lustrous greenish-black, striated, fluororichterite prisms are jauntily set in contrasting calcite matrix. The prominent large crystal in front is 5.3 cm and has a contacted termination. The smaller crystal is fully terminated. Pearlescent, bronzey-brown phlogopite crystals are scattered on the back. Highly representative combo material from this noted locale. Rare in such quality for aesthetics, though.
