Item Description
Classic, sharp, terminated tabular fluoro-richterite crystal from the Wilberforce area of the famed Bancroft Area of Ontario. The satin-luster greenish-gray crystal has moderate translucence under bright light. Fluoro-richterite is a rare member of the Amphibole Group. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only a bit of basal periphery wear on one edge. The finest examples of the species come from 1960s and 70s finds in the Wilberforce area and this is an excellent single crystal.
