Item Description
Fluornatromicrolite is a rare tantalum oxide with fluorine recently found in 1998 and is typically found in pegmatites. This very fine and rare combination small cabinet features a 3 mm, gem, golden-amber octahedron strikingly set on the side of a 2.2 cm, gorgeous, gem, champagne-colored topaz crystal with a flat top termination. A 2.5 cm, sharply terminated, broad, frosted quartz crystal is a super compliment to this excellent combination piece. The quartz crystal has a lightly dinged termination and periphery wear is noted, but have minimal impact on the importance of the fluornatromicrolite on the pristine, gem topaz. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this rarity at $450, five or more years ago. It is worth more today, with the ongoing conflict.
