Item Description
A dramatic, very sculptural, LARGE CABINET mound of highly lustrous, translucent, pretty bottle-green, fluorite cubes from the famous Xianghualing Mine of China. The largest cube is 3.0 cm and the crystals have interesting, micro stepped-growth faces and color zoning. The deep core of the piece is purple fluorite. Very nearly pristine, one spot of edgewear is noted, and is a very modest detraction. The rich green color is very pleasing on this large, highly representative specimen. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Ex Zukowski Collection. Valued at $800-1000.
