Fluorite - with unusual stalactites, ex. Holloway coll.

Item Description

This is a really fine Okorusu fluorite, cabinet piece! It is complete all around except only trivial dings and one contact spot, nearly a floater! It has great transparency, and the crystals are so sharp you can cut yourself on them. The sharp cubic crystals reach 2.2 cm in size, and form elongated stalactitic fingers leaping out from a common core. I have not seen such a piece, iin overall aspect, from here. In person, it is just one of the nicest and most 3-dimensional Okorusu pieces of this habit I have handled. It is 3-dimensional, literally spraying out in all directions, for a crystal style that tends to be only found in flat plates.
