Fluorite with Strontianite (Mullane Coll.)

Item Description

Glassy, transparent, nearly colorless fluorite cubes are piled high on all three sides of this sculptural and showy specimen from Illinois. The cubes have very faint blue color-zoning and rest on a very light amber fluorite interior giving a distinctively different look to the crystals. The scattering of snow-white strontianite botryoids is a very nice accent. Uncommon and excellent combination material from this less well-known district. Complete all-around and in excellent shape.
