Fluorite with Schorl Tourmaline

Stak Nala is probably the best-known Tourmaline locality in Pakistan, but occasionally it has produced some attractive Fluorite specimens. Typically the Fluorites from this locality measure in the 1-2 cm range, but this piece is a notably large example, measuring well over 5 cm! This sharp, well-formed, gemmy, soft green colored octahedron is associated and partially included with prismatic black Schorl Tourmaline crystals, along with a small amount of white Albite. Overall, the piece is in good condition, with no major damage, though there is some interrupted growth where it was attached to the pocket wall. Certainly one of the biggest Fluorites we've ever had to offer from the locality. Valued $950.
