Item Description
The lustrous, rich purple fluorite is unusually etched and frosted on this showy and excellent matrix specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The faces on the translucent cube have a crinkle-look and one face is distinctively cavernous. The silicified limestone matrix is niftily accented with tiny, gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals. Fine and unusual older combination material from 1980s finds. The fluorite cube is pristine. MUCH better in person.
