Item Description

These distinctive and eye-catching Chinese Rhodos have appeared on the market a few years ago, and seem to have dried up now. The specimens really remind me of specimens I've seen from various mines in Colorado. If this piece were from the Sweet Home mine, it would be a great treasure for many Colorado collectors. This piece features many sharp, very lustrous, GEM quality, soft green to purple color cubic crystals of Fluorite associated with a sharp, pink, flattened rhomobohedron of Rhodochrosite aesthetically sitting on white Quartz and Barite matrix. The largest Fluorites measures 1.0 cm on edge, and the Rhodo measures 6 mm across. More than a reference specimen as the quality of the Fluorite is SUPERB for the loca.e You really don't see many of these association specimen from Wutong available, and the locality has produced little to nothing in the way of specimens in recent years.
