Item Description
A lovely association specimen from the famed Sweet Home Mine in Colorado, known for producing some of the finest Rhodochrosite crystals in the world. This toenail sized piece hosts a few rich purple colored, cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge, associated with light pinkish colored rhombs of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 8 mm, with associated brassy Chalcopyrite and Quartz sitting on matrix. The Fluorites show beautiful internal gemminess when backlit. A nice overall piece from this famous locality.
