Fluorite with Quartz on Muscovite

A classic older specimen from the Yaogangxian Mine in China, mined circa 2007-2008. This mine is famous for its beautiful Fluorites, found in multiple colors, and in superb quality examples. This showy small cabinet specimen hosts a very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, rich purple colored cube of Fluorite measuring 2.4 cm on edge, associated with a somewhat milky prismatic crystal of Quartz, sitting atop a sculptural matrix of silvery-beige colored Muscovite with some scattered compressed rhombs of golden Siderite. A few accenting Fluorite cubes can be seen on the side of the main Fluorite, and there are more partial Fluorites and Quartz on the back of the piece. I can see one small ding on the corner of the main Fluorite cube, but otherwise it's in very good shape. A showy example of what will go down as classics from China, the best of which are already regarded among the top tier for any Chinese Fluorites.
