Fluorite with Quartz ( Krause Coll.)

Item Description

A superb, old-time fluorite and quartz specimen from Weardale. The glassy, pretty purple cubes are beautifully and richly, preferentially coated with super sparkly, microcrystalline quartz. The quartz looks like frost on the fluorite cubes! The matrix is massive colorless fluorite. This fine piece is probably from the famous Frazer's Hush Mine. Ex Larry Krause Collection. Excellent fluorescence.
