Fluorite with Quartz ''flower''

Specimens from the Homestake-Jack Pot Mine are not commonly seen on the market, especially these days, as nothing has come out in many years. This robust small cabinet display specimen features a group of attractive octahedral crystals of gorgeous green color Fluorite measuring up to 2.2 cm across associated with a beautiful, gemmy, colorless "flower"-shaped group of Quartz. The majority of the Fluorites are undamaged, though there are a few contacts here and there. It should be noted that while the Fluorite crystals are octahedral in shape, they actually have hundreds of tiny modifying faces sprinkled all over, which appears to be a second generation overgrowing the original Fluorite crystals. A really cool specimen of these hard to find specimens from this old gold mine in northwestern Arizona (near the Nevada Border). Priced at $650 in the inventory.
