Item Description

A showy small cabinet display specimen loaded with classic, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, pale green cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.2 cm are associated with very sharp, highly lustrous, "stubby" bi-pyramidal crystals of colorless Quartz on matrix. Very good quality all around with no major damage. Upon close inspection you can see small black specular inclusions of what I believe to some iron oxide. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3902). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
