Fluorite with Quartz and Dolomite (ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection)

Beautiful gemmy crystals of purple and colorless Fluorite measuring up to about 6 mm are associatd with dozens of sharp, prismatic, colorless translucent Quartz prisms alogn with pale beige-pink colored rhombs of Dolomite and even a few cubic Pyrites for a nice touch. The Fluorites are mostly cubic in habit, but do show some defined dodecahedral modifications on the edges. Very good quality, no real damage of note that I could fine and it's much more eye-catching in person than the photos might indicate. Valued at $750. Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
