Fluorite with Quartz

Item Description

This mine has become one of the foremost producers of fine quality specimens in the world. Species like Ferberite, Bournonite, Stannite are among the greats from Yaogangxian, but there colorful species like Fluorite and Fluorapatite are just as significant. This piece hosts beautiful cuboctahedral blue-green Fluorite crystals with a sugary / drusy layer of sparkling Quartz. When strongly backlit, the piece shows some slight "phantoms". A great combo specimen with good quality crystals. No real damage on the front, but the back is contacted where it was removed from the pocket.
