Item Description
This is a lovely small cabinet specimen from the new find in mid-2021 at the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China. The piece hosts an eye-catching group of soft blue-green colored, translucent, lustrous cubic crystals of Fluorite - with the predominant group measuring 3.1 cm - associated with small milky white sparkling groups of Quartz on a thin layer of matrix. No real damage that I can find, and the piece is partially re-crystallized on the back. The Yaogangxian Mine is one of the iconic localities for Fluorite in China, which is really saying something considering how many places have produced great Fluorite specimens over the past 20+ years from this country. Don't miss out on this beauty, few like it were found, and we don't know if there will be more.
