Item Description

Nice and unusual combination piece featuring lavender Fluorites with lustrous Pyrite and slender Quartz crystals, from the Milpo Mine in Peru. The largest Fluorites reaches 3 cm on edge, but the octahedron is not fully developed in all directions. What is interesting, though, is that the corners of the Fluorites are more fully developed, almost looking like cuboctahedral development. This actually raises the height of the faces at the corners, making it appear like the stripped Great Pyramids. This is a unique style and rare specimen for the Milpo Mine, and better in person.
