Item Description
A stout, impressive, large, 6.1 x 5.8 x 5.2 cm fluorite cube with a very interesting beveled corner is nicely accented with smaller cubes at a corner on the base. The cube is quite deceptive with the matte luster faces under normal lighting BUT backlighting reveals a translucent cube with a rich honey-yellow core and striking, thick, blue-purple edge phantoms. Complete all-around, one corner of the cube is gently bruised. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Ex Paul Zerfass Collection No. 86. A remarkable large color-zoned fluorite cube from the well-known French locale.
