A matrix of small, sparkling Muscovite rosettes is host to a tight cluster of purple Fluorite crystals. This piece was from an acclaimed pocket from the Yaogangxian Mine about a decade ago that was noted for these purple Fluorites on a fine-grained, yellowish Muscovite matrix. This piece has three, compacted Fluorite crystals with sharp edges and corners nicely exposed on the Muscovite matrix and the longest dimension of the group is 2cm. Overall, the Fluorites are a rich, medium purple; however, all of them display a thin, distinct, grape purple phantom just below the surface for enhanced aesthetics. A very nice miniature, with razor sharp quality. When these turn up anymore, they should be valued highly. They are simply stunning, in person..
