Fluorite with Marcasite (old classic)

Classic, old-time, highly desirable yellow fluorite from famed Freiberg in Germany, these are among the most famous and recognizable of old classics. The sculptural cabinet is densely covered with intergrown gemmy, glassy, fine golden-yellow cubes to 1.7 cm with satin luster faces. Tiny blebs of Marcasite included in some of the cubes are a fine contrast, complement and accessory. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Outstanding old-time yellow fluorite with accessories from the historic locale.
