Fluorite with intense purple color

There are so many variations of Fluorite from these famous mines in Spain and these purple cubes with dark purple phantoms certainly stand out as the most amazing in color and impact. A dozen, lustrous, transparent, zoned crystals with deep purple phantoms dominate a sliver of limestone matrix covered with drusy Fluorite along with some small Quartz crystals and several small Calcite crystals. The rich translucent to transparent, purple phantoms take up half of the crystal's interior, followed by a super transparent, 3 to 4 mm thick rim that enables you to see all the way to the cube-shaped phantom. It's a dramatic and colorful specimen that showcasing abundant contrast within the Fluorite crystals and between the Fluorites and the matrix. The piece is in excellent condition with only one corner of the largest crystal compromised. The color is shocking, like grape juice, and teh best you could ask for. Valued $1000-1250
