Item Description
Scattered, highly etched, lustrous, metallic-gray, galena octahedrons are a dramatic contrast to the sculptural, dense field of intergrown, gemmy, glassy and lustrous, green fluorite cubes with cloudy interiors on this showy and aesthetic small cabinet combination. The underlying matrix is massive off-white to light yellow fluorite. Bright blue-white LW UV fluorescence. The label had a $1000 price tag when purchased by the previous collector soon after it was found. From a USA collector who diligently acquired specimens from every pocket. This captivating, rich and colorful fluorite and galena combination is from the September, 2023 Northern Lights Pocket find at the Diana Maria Mine at famed Weardale.
