Fluorite with Dolomite

A wonderful small cabinet sized display specimen featuring dozens of gemmy golden yellow crystals of cubic Fluorite which are associated with lovely "saddle"-shaped crystals of cream colored Dolomite free of matrix. The back side of the piece is fully covered with Dolomite rhombs, so it's virtually crystallized all the way around, making it nearly a complete "floater". The specimen is in great shape overall, and it displays beautifully as you can see. Only a tiny amount of roughness on one side where it was removed from the pocket wall can be seen. The Fluorite crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. The largest Fluorite measures 7 mm on edge. across. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
