Item Description
Clay Center is one of the most well-known Fluorite-producing areas in the United States. The Fluorites from this locality are not only fine quality, but they are unique/distinctive with their signature color that ranges from a rich golden shade to a darker "root beer" hue. This piece is a lovely miniature display specimen of this classic material featuring razor-sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy cubes of Fluorite showing attractive "phantom" color zoning when backlit, measuring up to 2.6 cm, associated with stark white striated crystals of Celestine underneath. The Fluorites are in fine shape, with only a few tiny imperfections on the edges. A fine piece of these wonderfully alluring Fluorites.
