Item Description
Beautiful gem, rootbeer-brown corners on this classic and showy fluorite and celestine small cabinet combination from the famous White Rock Quarry at Clay Center. The highly lustrous, variable brown fluorite is mostly translucent. Glassy white celestine blades on the sides, base and back are typical and fine accessories. Ghostly white LW UV fluorescence. See the fine 2020 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 51, No. 5. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection No. 19386CL, a well-known New Jersey collector and has been a Board member and Vice President of the Franklin Mineral Museum. The gem fluorite corners really add pizzazz to this excellent, highly representative combination from this noted locale.
