Fluorite with Calcite (Larry Krause)

Muzquiz fluorites have incredible stepped-growth faces found nowhere else and this is an outlandish example. This striking, complete all-around cutie is water-clear and has very pretty, color-zoned, purple highlights. Scattered, clusters of amber, calcite crystals are a super accent. Close examination of the stepped-faces look just like a M.C. Escher print! A very trivial bit of periphery wear on the front is barely noticeable, and is certainly not a detraction. Nearly a floater, two lightly cleaved edges on the backside are out of sight. An outstanding fluorite from Muzquiz from the Larry Krause dealer stock.
