Item Description
Rich pastel-green beautiful fluorite cubes richly accented with sparkly drusy calcite and small flattened calcite rhombs on this sculptural small cabinet from one of China's most famous mines - Yaogangxian. The stunning very glassy cubes, to 3.5 cm, are transparent to translucent and have satin lustre faces. Purple fluorite and orange-pink calcite fluorescence. See the 2011 Mineralogical Record article in China-III Special Issue, Vol. 42, No. 6. Yaogangxian is famous for a remarkable variety of fluorite colors and this is an excellent and aesthetic combination example of a very uncommon color.
